Nate Robinson, 5'9", Blocks Yao Ming
Sick play here. i just saw this video and decided to post it. Doc Rivers if you are listening, put Nate Robinson in at center!
2010 Fantasy Sleeper and Breakout Players
Here are my candidates for Come Back Player of the Year or Break Out Players to look out for on draft day:
1) Carlos Gonzalez -OF Rockies (a no-brainer here) – round 10-12 this guy should be there. Can put up gawdy Beltran like numbers in his first full season.
2) Connor Jackson – 1B D’Backs – virtually going un drafted in most 12 team mixed leagues. Pick him up late and be pleasantly surprised this season.
Raptors Jarrett Jack Tying His Shoe Laces During Live Play Against Bulls (12/5/09)
Raptors guard Jarrett Jack ties his shoe laces during live play in Bulls vs. Raptors contest in which the game was a blow out late in the third quarter. Shows the lack of play and care n the part of the Chicago Bulls this year.
Prime Bets for NFL Week 9
I posted my bets for the NFL week 7 a few weeks ago and I turned out to go something like 7-0-1 for the games I picked. Well hopefully, those of you who weren’t able to catch those bets in time before kickoff….here is who I like for week 9. These 5 are my top plays for the week.
Andre Iguodala Off-The-Wall Trick Shot - Real or Fake?
This is a video of the 76ers star guard Andre Iguodala hitting an off the wall trick shot that catches nothing but net. But it seems as if it were staged due to the camera angle hiding the flight of the ball as he lets it go. You be the judge.
Spurs Manu Ginobli Swats Down Bat on Halloween Night Game vs. Kings
How appropriate that on Halloween night a bat was causing a stir flying around the SBC center in downtown San Antonio. After several delays due to this creature flying down onto the floor, the Spurs guard Manu Ginobli had enough as he did what the animal control services couldn’t do….and capture the animal right out of mid air! Needless to say, PETA will be calling shortly.
Shannon Brown Mad Hops Put-Back Dunk in Lakers-Mavs Game (10-30-09)
Lakers guard Shannon Brown had a sick put-back dunk off a Kobe Bryant miss shot in last night’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks as he elevated over teammate Josh Powell to slam the rock down. I didn’t know the little fella could jump so high.
Steve Nash Drops 20 Assists in Suns 123-101 Rout of Warriors
Steve Nash scored 18 points and had the sixth 20-assist game of his career Friday night in Phoenix’s 123-101 rout of the Golden State Warriors in the Suns’ home opener. Nash’s 20 assists were two shy of his career high, set in a triple-overtime game against New York on Jan. 2, 2006.
All five Phoenix starters scored in double figures, led by Leandro Barbosa’s 24 points. Channing Frye, the former University of Arizona star making his home debut for the Suns, added 22, including making 6 of 7 3-pointers, four in the fourth quarter.
Yankees vs. Phillies: 2009 World Series Preview
A very entertaining World Series between the two best teams in baseball in the Phillies and the Yankees. Being a Mets fan this couldn’t be a worse match up to wish for but seeing as I have to watch and choose a team I’ll pick the Yankees to win in six games. Here is a preview and what to look for when analyzing both teams.
Week 7 NFL Predictions (Get Your Bets Going!)
For all you betting fools out there with the urge to splurge…..here are my picks for NFL football week 7.
a) Pats (-15) should cover in England overseas vs. Bucs
I’d say 38-10 final. The only reason score isn’t higher for NE is cause Bellichick likes to run those boring 8 minutes offensive drives four times a game. Bucs 1-15 or 2-14 this year….ouch.
b) Colts should cover (-14.5) at St. Louis Rams.
I say final score is 42 -17 Peyton throws for 4 TD’s and over 375 yards.
