These two hooked up several time throughout the course of both of their college careers. In the last two years, the two hooked up for 24 touchdowns which is a lot for that amount of time. They built one of those unique chemistry's that is hard to come by and hard to form. We've seen similar things in the NFL with our own Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, or even Steve Young and Jerry Rice. Shipley will need to end up in a situation similar at the Pro level to find a fair amount of success. I am not sure what he is going to be as far as comparison's or even what position he will end up playing. He could line up as a slot guy, or he could make a push to be a number two guy somewhere like a Wes Welker type of player; although I think of Welker as more of a number one than anything else. Brady and Welker had that same type of chemistry as well.
Shipley's best two years in college were his last two but he played 4 years beginning from his freshman season. Shipley also returned kicks and punts and was successful at both. It will be very interesting to see where Shipley ends up being selected, although I think I have a pretty good idea.
Shipley's stats, highlights, awards and honors, and projection are provided after the jump.

Here are some highlights from Shipley and McCoy at the University of Texas.

SUMMARY AND PROJECTION:
I think that Shipley will be a good possession receiver in the NFL but I know for sure he will not be selected in the first round and I think it's a pretty big reach if someone takes him in the second round. I believe that Shipley will find his name being called somewhere in the 3rd Round. He is roughly 6'0" 190 LBS.
Possibilities -- 3rd Round: Picks 65-95.
