Good morning, folks. We had a pretty slow day yesterday as far as news is concerned. This is probably a good thing considering all that has happened with this team (and division) this offseason. I think we can all finally look forward to the game on Sunday. The Seahawks. I'm seriously getting goosebumps for this regular season to begin. I'm ignoring friends who want to hang out on Sunday, I'm shutting out the entirety of the world outside of the 49ers. It will be a great game. Beyond that, Nate Davis' future will become clear around 1 p.m.

Last season we ran a weekly approval poll for 49ers head coach Mike Singletary. I want to do the same thing in 2010, and I thought it would be helpful to have a base line rating heading into the season. It's been an incredibly busy offseason for the team as they head into a 2010 season in which expectations are as high as they have been in close to 10 years.
