1st Quarter: The Niners look to be in for a long day. First, Gore reinjures his ankle. Then, AP gashes the Niners for a 35 yard run. Now, Sidney Rice just hooked up with Favre on a TD pass. Ouch. Let’s see if the Niners can respond.

Niners still don’t have a first down. Oh man.
2nd Quarter: Niners gamble, go for it on 4th down and get it. Then, Hill floats a pass to VD in the end zone. TD, Niners! We trail 7-10.
Longwell has to be one of the top three best kickers in the league fantasy wise right now. He just kicked a 50 yarder. Vikes lead, 13-7. can the 49ers score in response?
They are really moving the ball on the Niners now. Dump pass to Chester Taylor, long run by Peterson. Looks like the Vikes will score with 28 seconds left in the half.
Amazing! Niners block the field goal try at the end of the second half, and Nate Clements picks it up and runs it all the way back for a TD! What a momentum shift! Tie game, and Niners lead after the XP, 14-13. Wow. We’re at half.
nice commentary. I’m watching the game too and the Niners look to be the weaker team, but they are finding ways to win (and at least take the lead here).

and just like that, Percy Harvin runs the ensuing kickoff back all the way for a TD. XP is good, 20-17, Vikes.
ouch! The niners looked like they were going to win it, but a 40 yard hail mary to Greg Lewis with 2 seconds to go gets the TD. Niners are stunned on the sidelines.
what a tough loss. But the Niners played well enough to win. Hopefully this will serve as motivation and not set the Niners into a funk.
